indigo creek picThe term, Myrtle Beach Golf most often encompasses the entire Grand Strand Area in South Carolina.  Indigo Creek golf course is located near the south end of The Grand Strand and has provided golfing enjoyment to locals, members, and visitors since it opened in the early 1990’s. Many vacationers return to Indigo Creek, making it a regular part of the vacation package. The course has nearly 100 members who make this their home course. Indigo Creek provides many amenaties to its members and returning visitors.

The management team at Indigo Creek includes Head PGA Professional, A.J. Sawyer, who celebrated his 13th year at the golf course in 2013. The course recently completed a half-million dollar upgrade to the property that included clubhouse improvements, replacing over 5 miles of cart paths, repairing many bunkers, and removing over 800 trees. A.J. reports the removal of the trees will not only help prevent future damage to the new cart paths, but will create more air flow and additional areas for growing grass. “Tee-top-green we’re as good as any course along the Grand Strand”, remarks Sawyer.
